I liked the location, it was perfect for travelling with work. The staff were friendly, when you could find them. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast was good. The chef seemed very happy. Could hear him singing from the kitchen.

The room was comfortable if a little hot at night. It was a bit of a maze to reach the room I was in but once done once there were only a few errors on other occasions. The breakfast on Saturday was good, but a bit more limited on the Sunday eg. no fruit.

I booked a double room for myself, but swapped on the day with a friend who had booked a single room which involved too many stairs for her. Ther is no lift, so maybe guests should be advised when booking some of the rooms.The breakkfast was better than I have had is places charging a similar price. The staff members I met were helpful and courteous, and the garden was large and pleasant.

Lovely grounds with plenty of parking. Attractive buildings. Our room was like a mini cottage outside the main hotel. Handy for Bury and also for functions at Hengrave just outside the town. Were told by daughter it was one of the more reasonably priced options in Bury.

Attended for a family members wedding and the staff were amazing! Nothing was to much trouble for them. Food was delightful! The grounds were beautiful to sit in. Room was spacious and very clean, Bed was so comfortable!! Plenty of storage space. Very happy there was a fan in the room as it was far to hot in there!

The location is close to the town, and the grounds to the hotel are beautiful. Jo, a senior member of staff, went out of her way to make my family's stay as comfortable as possible ( i have an assistance dog). Her treatment towards us, going beyond and above, won't be forgotten. . . The cosy, lounge area is a real sun trap.So to sit, relax, and watch the world go by was a highlight of our stay. .

The room was brilliant. Managed to get a great upgrade for a bargain. Nice and spacious, very clean. Decent decor. Complimentary confectionary in there. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. There was a very friendly cat who liked to hang around within the grounds that came to say hello. Beautiful little cat. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom size was very generous.

Spacious & clean chalet style room with everything we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast over at the main hotel in a airy light room overlooking nice gardens. Lots of choice & food was good. Parking in the grounds with no extra charge.

Beautiful setting, lovely and quiet. All the staff were really lovely, helpful and polite. I had a light meal in the restaurant, which was lovely. I have stayed many times and it's the nicest place to stay, cheaper than in the town. My first choice when visiting Suffolk.
